Nicole C. Carey
Chief Strategy Officer
Ms. Carey is a seasoned executive with nearly 30 years of experience leading and managing teams and tasks – from implementing strategic planning, change management, and policy development to communications, branding, marketing, education, and research activities for government, non-profit, and for-profit agencies.
She specializes in strategic communications, stakeholder analysis and engagement, change management, and organizational improvement. Her work-life “superpower” includes her ability to see and understand individual and organizational challenges and develop creative, yet grounded solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
She currently is the Chief Strategy Officer at Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS), a service-disabled veteran owned small business specializing in government management and advisory services where she develops communicates, executes, and sustains corporate strategic initiatives. She also provides stewardship of the truly innovative and oh-so-creative DIS Strategic Communications and Integrated Marketing (SCIM) Practice of nearly 60 communications and creative professionals.
She has served as a project director and senior strategic advisor on award winning national campaign activities and projects for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Army.
Previously she served as the Chief of Staff to Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan and as Executive Director of the King Hussein Foundation International (KHFI) and the CEO of the Arthritis Foundation Metropolitan Washington Chapter.
Other positions held by Ms. Carey include Vice President of Communications and Public Policy Research for Planned Parenthood of Maryland, and adjunct faculty member for the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs, SUNY Albany, where she taught American Politics, Political Theory and Women and Public Policy.
Ms. Carey graduated summa cum laude with a BA from Ithaca College, and holds a Master’s Degree from the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, SUNY Albany. She has a certificate in Women and Public Policy from the Center for Women in Government and Civil Society. She is a 2021 FED100 Winner and a 2022 PR NEWS TOP WOMEN Change Maker.
In her spare time, she has served as a ghostwriter on topics from Lyme disease to mind, body soul integration, and as a fundraiser for charitable causes. She enjoys yoga, meditation and spending time with her daughter and pack of animals. She is committed to learning how to expand her communication skills to connect and communicate with those in the physical and non-physical dimensions and seek happiness and all things like it.
